Fil-Am Storytime & Art: FAHM themed Kids Club at SouthBay Pavilion, October 11th, 2012

This special event is to share Filipino & Fil-Am culture to foster curiosity, respect, & love for the Philippine culture in our children at an early age.

After reading  “I am Flippish!” I will be selling autographed copies for a special price of $12 (tax included) and 10% of the sales will go to the FACC – SLAA Bayani  Campaign.  This campaign is an umbrella for future educational events and workshops organized by the Fil-Am Chamber of Commerce – Southbay LA Area whose plan is to help create & support heros in our community.

I will be joining Filipina Author Fe P. Koons who will be reading from a children’s book she co-wrote “7 stories from 7 sisters” and Filipino Artist Ricky Maginsay, who is an Assistant Director for the Simpsons and he will be teaching the kids how to draw.
