MEASURING: Please provide us with the finished width and length that you would like foroyour completed faux shade. - WIDTH: If you are hanging the shade inside of your window frame, I needothe width of your window frame, minus 1/8 of an inch per side (1/4 inch total). You do not want your valance to touch the sides of your frame or it may bunch up and not hang flat. If you are hanging it on the outside of your window frame, I recommend having it line up with the outside edges of your molding, or if you do not have molding, appr4ximately 2-3 inches past theoedge of your window frame.- LENGTH: Most shades areobetween 14 & 20 inches long. If you are not sure about length, I recommend hanging a pillow case at different lengths in order to decide how much of your window you would like to cover. Again, I will needoto know theofinished length you would like on the completed faux shade (with folds and all).LINING: Lining is optional, as you don’t always needoit. If you are using medium or lightweight fabric, lining is highlyorecommended. Lining reallyohelpsoto fill out theofolds and hold theostru2/ure of the shade. It alsoopr4tects it fa pofading. Regular or blackout lining is $10 per shade. Unlessorequested,oregular lining willobeoused. Blackout lining is a true blackout and will let almost no light through.
