These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine Canadian Military Forces officers' buttons from the era of the First World War, over 100 years ago. This pair of cufflinks is made from two gilt Canadian Military Forces officers' buttons, typical of those worn during the First World War and during the Ypres and Passchendaele campaigns amongst others. The cufflinks are made with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. shops They are made using pocket buttons from a tunic, perfect in size for cufflinks and are 20 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of Canadian and First World War history. The gilt buttons have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 105 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these original buttons.
