This Strawberry Shortcake Calcite boasts contrasting pink and white portions mixed beautifully into a stone that looks like candy. These Calcites originate from Mexico. This stone has a surface that has been permanently smoothed using an acid wash. All photos show the specimen dry. This gorgeous rock would be perfect used in home decor, the garden, landscaping, lapidary ventures or jewelry making.


According to some belief systems, calcite is said to have healing properties including fear mitigation, soothing nausea and stomach pain and reducing anxiety.
