This beautiful Victorian, 9 carat gold mourning brooch is oval with a fine chased leaf design set with three saphires. It is in very good antique condition with only one small dent in the gold on the back (see photo). The glass on the back of the brooch covers a small, dried floral tribute (I am unsure what the plant is) and the brooch has a C clasp to fasten it. It can also be worn as a pendant. The jump ring on the pendant at the moment is not gold but a brass colour ring.
As all items are vintage, there may be tiny imperfections commensurate with age. Any larger imperfections will be photographed and shops described.
