a large vintage round brass tray with a wide rim. This is a church collection plate with decorative etched typography on the wide rim & stylized cross design in the centre. The rim reads "It is more blessed to give than to receive". The type is in the Old English font style. There are medallion designs between some of the words. This is a heavy piece with lots of patina & abrasion including areas where the surface brass has been polished away. The rim has a few dents. No makers marks. Please zoom images. Priced accordingly.
