Silver flamingos earrings. The flamingos are birds that we can find in the Etruscan / Villanovan shops area in the lagoon of Orbetello up to the Lido di Tarquinia. This image can be found on some fenestrated loops of the late Villanovan period.
This handmade earrings were made with the technique of lost wax in Silver 925 (Sterling Silver).
Details dimensions: 28 mm in circumference.
HOW TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN SILVER:
Silver is one of the metal I use to create my jewels. It takes a certain proportion of pure Silver (925 parts) and Copper (75 parts) to obtain the Silver 925 alloy, that is used for jewelry.
Silver is a precious metal: it has a white brilliant colour and some properties like malleability, ductility and resistance to atmospheric oxidation, that make it so similar to Gold, and a better conductor than Copper. Silver is moreover the metal with the highest thermal conductivity.
When worn, it can darken in relation to the environmental conditions (heat, light, composition of the air). If you want to restore shine to your jewels you can use a cotton rag with ash or a specific polishing product for Silver.
Silver is not toxic, and it can have beneficial effects on skin and also curative and energizing properties.

The earrings are supplied with cloth bag and can be slightly different from the photo. Since the whole creation and workmanship are all handmade, every piece could be a little different from the picture.
