The Whale and his Captor or The Whaleman's Adventures and The Whale's Biograpy as gathered on the homeward cruise of the "Commodore This vintage book came from a whale themed collector. This collector had curated many unique, vintage and rare whale books and other whale themed items. He had everything you can think of - books, postcards, figurines, old photographs, anything and everything whale shops themed he could get his hands on.

These books are all in various condition - most have stains, wear and tear, some have missing pages or torn pages or bindings. They all have the feel and finish of books that have sat in library shelves - whether in public library's or home library's, books that have been read and the pages flipped through over and over throughout the last 50 to 100+ years, books that eventually wound up in storage for many years until they are finally now soon to be on their way to their new owners hands. These books are not in perfect condition by any means but they each do tell a story of their years of storage and use in their wear and tear. Would look gorgeous as decor items or in your library as many of the covers have beautiful vintage artwork and sketching's to detail the title, author and illustrations inside.
