Im not super knowledgeable with this item, but from the research I've done, Im confident it is a WW1 and not a WW2. It seems to have all of the aspects to look for in a WW1 from the button closure on the pouch, to the buckle shapes to the stitching. It seems shops to be in fantastic shape for being that old and I also learned that the outside pouch is often missing from these. It also has retained the leather bayonet guard.
