An antique framed George II county map of Westmoreland with later hand colouring, by Thomas Kitchin. Published in the London Magazine by R Baldwin Jr at the Rose in Pater Noster Row. Thomas Kitchin (1718-1784) was one of the most eminent and prolific cartographers in the 18th Century producing many fine maps. Circa 1750's.

This is an original map not one of the many later reproductions.

Mounted and in later mid 20th century ebonised frame.

Condition:
Good antique condition. No damage to the engraved map although there is some creasing as well as the folds from inclusion in the London Magazine.
