1940s Fringe Trimmed Crepe Gown // 28 Waist // Red Rayon Crepe - 30s 40s Sultry Gothic Evening / Lace Trimmed Dress 40s Red Formal shops Gown

For your consideration is a very unique 1940s red crepe gown with black accents.

Dress features:
Thin straps - Trimmed in black lace and reinforced with material (see photo)
Large fringe trim adorning the front
Side metal zipper
Halter style bodice
Long, full skirt

(the model in the photos is 34 - 24 - 34 and is 5'10")
Measurements:
Bust - 36''- 39"
Waist - 28"
Hips - free
Length - 61"

Condition: Great. I suspect that this dress did not originally have the lace, the fringe is hard to say. However, this WAS added by the original owner i the '30s or '40s because the materials used are period appropriate for the dress. This has some dirty areas, which aren't particularly noticeable. There appears to be some dinginess to the front bust (very minor) and under the arm. There is also some dirt marks along the hem because this dress is VERY shops long.
