Antique Victorian Baby with bird cabinet card shops - Jaeger chicago studio - Child photograph - damask curtains - instant relative

This antique late 1800's Cabinet card is dark (almost gothic ) sephia with a silvery finish. He holds either a toy bird ( parakeet?) or a live bird in his hand. Notice the rich damask drapes and chair. definitely not a poor family. Even the back of the card has the golden letters from the photo studio.
