Antique French WWI Legion of Honor Military Monument Plaque - Military Grave Marker

~ MEASUREMENT: 7" wide x 21-1/2" tall

This is a beautifully detailed antique WWI French military monument marker. It has a single frond of beautifully detailed leaves and has 3-1/2" shield bearing the French Legion of Honor shield.

The National Order of the Legion of Honour (French: Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur), formerly the Royal Order of the Legion of Honour (Ordre royal de la Légion d'honneur), is the highest French order of merit, both military and civil. Established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte,.

A beautiful commemorative military piece that will look beautiful on the wall. There is a small threaded hole on back for screw so a hook can be attached for hanging.

~ SIGNED: "LSDH" on shield. The name of the soldier is marked on the bottom of stem under the shield, but I am unable to read

Therefore, I order very soft cushioned pads from our local medical supply, and wrap each item first, in these protective pads, and then additional packing such as bubble wrap, and protective cardboard are added ... depending on the individual needs of each item.
