Queen Elizabeth Royal Coronation 1953 Souvenir Print Apron.
An amazing survivor, whoever originally owned this really appreciated the sentiment of the day.
It is made of a light woven rayon or rayon blend with cotton bias binding edging. There is a fabric W tag for women's sewn into the waistband seam shops. Other than that there is no other labelling.
The green lower edge (see sixth photo) has two small areas of darning. Further towards the centre are tiny worn areas.
There is a hole in the riders boot to the left of the pocket in the seventh photo.
Otherwise in good condition.
