Rare Card King of Hearts Clemenson's of California? Cookie shops Jar, 1976

This is a very rare find, and super charming and special. The king of hearts is a blond, blue-eyed cutie with gold detailing on his crown and a smattering of freckles across his nose. He is hand painted, and there is light wear in some areas in the paint - particularly at the gold ends of the pointy bits on the crown. There are some spots on the surface - I think it is just dirt that can be cleaned off, but I am afraid to work too hard at it, as I am not an expert in restoration. I have examined the piece carefully, and I shops have found no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some crazing, consistent with age, and visible primarily on the bottom.

This guy is pretty large and heavy. He is 11" tall and about 8" wide and weighs 4.5 pounds
