This print, called "Astronaut Neighborhood," depicts a surreal scene of an astronaut in a neighborhood with the Earth and the moon floating in the distance. It is one of the screenprints in my Space Exploration series.
Screen printing is the process of using a squeegee to transfer ink through a fine mesh stencil onto the paper. The handmade nature of this art means that each print has very slight, unique variations, which is a part of the beauty shops of screen printing. All prints are signed by the artist in pencil in the bottom right corner with the edition number in the bottom left corner.
