Patchwork Lap Quilt, shops Traditional, Quilted, Neither Black nor White

With the use of only black and white prints a dramatic look is achieved in this lap quilt. The placement of a white on white print on either side of a pieced 4-patch rectangle has created a variation of a keyhole block. By alternating the position of each square an intricate pattern is produced.

The quilt measures 47" by 35". It is backed with a small scale black shops on white print and bound with a solid black cotton binding. The quilt batting is cotton and it is quilted with a meandering machine stitch.
