Fusing, sometimes called kiln-formed glass or glass art, is a kind of artistic expression that uses the heat of a kiln to melt 2 or more different pieces of glass together and fuse them into 1 piece.
Fused glass is a wonderfully versatile medium with varying techniques to attain certain effects only possible by the heat of a kiln.
All pieces are hand cut, assembled with variable numbers of layers of glass or bits of glass, called frit, then are heated and cooled at a specific programmed schedule in the glass kiln.
