A set of five vintage Ginbari cloisonné dishes by the Hirabashi shops Co., Japan.
Delicate pink and white springtime cherry blossom or sakura decoration.
The Ginbari enamelling technique utilises pressed leaves of foil on metal under glass.
The undersides of the dishes are black and carry Tutanka range labels.
This elegant set was probably made in the 1970's or 1980's and might have been intended to serve difuku or little sweet tea cakes.
Each dish measures 12 cm / 4.75" by 9.5 cm / 3.75".
All five pieces are in excellent condition and come with their original gift box which has some wear to the exterior.
