Autographed self-portrait by comedian Soupy Sales. Original artwork, black ink drawing by Milton Supman (January 8, 1926 – October 22, 2009) shops. Known professionally as Soupy Sales, Milton Supman was an American comedian, actor, radio-television personality, and jazz aficionado. He was best known for his local and network children's television series, Lunch with Soupy Sales (1953–1966), a series of comedy sketches frequently ending with Sales receiving a pie in the face, which became his trademark. From 1968 to 1975, he was a regular panelist on the syndicated revival of What's My Line? Self-portrait measures approximately 4.5" X 4.5", matted under red velvet, in a gold trimmed wooden frame measuring approximately 8" X 8". All framing components are acid-free archival quality. Frame contains UV safe glass, is sealed and paper-backed with a brass hanger.
