Do you know someone who makes a pot of tea and then slowly lingers over it as they work or read a good book? Do you want to make your afternoon tea parties special?

I made this quilted tea cozy by piecing and sewing more than thirty thin strips of cotton fabric going through the cotton batting onto the back. Then I added a loop shops for hanging the tea cozy and removing it from the pot and hand finished the binding. Of course it is signed. The back of the cozy is black.

At about 9 by 12 inches, this cozy should work for most medium size tea pots. Just measure to be sure. Having the cozy larger than the tea pot is not a problem.
