I do not know much about this item except it was expensive. It's not extremely heavy, but has been made with time and care. It is beautifully crafted. It feels as if it's a type of metal. The bowl is large capacity and would be beautiful on a large table or surface. This is a handmade item which makes it one of a kind.The style and color reminds me of something you would have seen during the shops Vikings Era. This personally is not my taste and doesn't go with any of my decor. My loss is your gain. My significant other paid a lot for this, but I do not like it. It's set around collecting dust.
