This print titled, “Pittsburgh Pride” was originally created April, 2010 for the 13th annual “Art All Night” show in Lawrenceville, PA. With over 72 hours of drawing time this piece is a tribute to my respected alma-mater. I graduated from Pittsburgh in 1998 with a degree in civil engineering. I have been fortunate to have a career as an engineer by day, but I am an artist by night.

As many of you know there is something extraordinary about the historical main campus located in Oakland, Pennsylvania. My quest to create the perfect collage that represents all things Pitt can be credited to the numerous students, alums, employees and fans that helped me “piece together” our great institution.

From Johnny Mayors and Dan Marino to Cardiac shops Hill and the “O”, it's all there to see for those of you, like me, who love this school. With hundreds of images within this piece, you will see that I have captured many people, places, and things that will bring you back to the “good ole days.” I hope you enjoy my personal rendition of “Pittsburgh Pride” and I dare you to find something I missed! It takes approximately 3-months to create the originals; 2-months of learning and researching all I can about the subject, and about one full month of drawing by hand everything that I have learned.
