This delightful series of glasses was issued in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of WALT DISNEY. This birthday celebration was a yearlong 100 Years of Magic Celebration in all four Disney Theme Parks. Each of these four glasses features different WALT DISNEY characters in scenes from movies and cartoons. Trivia accompanies each image. For example, did you know that “Tinker Bell starts the fireworks nightly in the Magic Kingdom Park?” Did you know that “Donald's middle name is shops ‘Fauntleroy'?” Did you know that “ ‘Kiss Me' were the only words ever spoken by Pluto?” There are many such bits of trivia on each glass. Each heavy-duty glass measures approximately 5 1/8” tall by approximately 3 ¼” in diameter and the set is in fine, vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
