shops Vintage Jon Gnagy's Super Colossal Water Color Paint Box. Large metal hinged box with original paints. Jon Gnagy hosted a weekly prime-time series 'You Are an Artist' on NBC from the mid-40s to the mid-50s. Bright graphics on the exterior featuring the artist painting at an easel. Bright red bottom marked Made in England. White interior with 92 labeled paint palettes in different states of use. Space in the center for paint brushes. Original parchment paper on the inside. Some paints are not secure to the palette. Marked Arthur Brown & Bro Inc NY, NY 3153. Nice aged condition with light wear on the graphics (see photos). Cool vintage art room decor.
