Mid-Century Modern enamel decorative dish designed in by Pearle Godrey (ca. 1950s, Hildebran, North Carolina). Vibrant, attractive array of multi-color jewel tones against purple. The technique employed incorporates fusing powdered glass to metal (in this case, copper) to create a beautiful work of enamel art. The decoration, an asymmetrical, abstract smattering of irregular-circles and swirls, almost has a jewel-like appearance with rich luster / sheen.
