This is a skein with the colors of the rainbow, spun from solid-color, mill-dyed fiber. Each color band is approximately 100 yards and 30 grams, for a total of 650 yards and 197 grams, or 6.9 shops ounces. The colors appear in the order yellow, orange, red, purple, blue and green. It is a fine sport weight at 1505 yards per pound.

This yarn is spun from a mix of Merino and Corriedale wool. Merino is the standard by which the fineness of wool is graded and is among the softest fleeces in the world. Corriedale is a mid-grade wool, originally developed for the sweater trade, and is noted for its ease of spinning.
