In our Pattern & Texture series we take a look at different patterns in scale and texture. We love the way these tiles can stand alone or be combined in different groupings and spacing on your wall, arrange them symmetrically or asemmetrically, display them all together for impact, spread them out, or pack them close together when you hang them. Lots of options here. Choose them and use them to suit your individual style.

We handcarve these tiles out of a slab of clay, then fire, glaze, Raku shops fire, and grout for the final effect. Each tile is set into a variety of black wood frames and are ready for hanging.

We love Raku firing because no one can predict what the results will look like when the process is finished. The glazes crackle and change in intriguing patterns and colors that cannot be achieved in kiln firing.

Each piece is handcrafted to create a one-of-a-kind piece. When working with natural materials, it is impossible to duplicate exact color variation and patina.

Our pictures represent a close color palette of the glazed tiles and stones and the typical shape and size variations. The piece we create for you will be a unique, made to order, one-of-a-kind piece, but will not be an exact duplication of the photograph.
