This leopard print top hat sports a black velvet band. It is 5 1/2" tall and will fit a large size head (about 23 1/2" around). This hat is made of a velvet in very rust and brown with black spots. It is not quite black and white.

The fabric is sewn onto a crushable base of very heavy flexible interfacing, a material that pops right back even when you pack it a suitcase. Under the brim you will find a hand-woven raffia braid and velvet. There is "memory wire" sewn into the edge of the brim so you can shape the brim any way you want

This hat is not entirely waterproof, but if you get caught out in the rain it's not the end of the world.... just let the shops hat dry without any wrinkles or creases and it will be fine.
