This is a rare cabochon of old-stock Ocean Jasper mined off the northwest coast of Madagascar and unfortunately the mine is no longer producing. This gem has an interesting collection of orbs that look like they were drawn on the multicolored jasper by mother nature.

I make all my cabochons by hand in my home studio. This gem was cut with a slight bevel on the back for shops ease of setting. The sides are cut at a slight angle (12.5 degrees off of perpendicular). I polish the front, back and sides of each stone.
