French Espresso Set, Service for 4, Faiencerie de Gien, Rouen 32, Blue Floral Faience, Delft-Like Medallion, French Cottage Chic Eagle Bay Heirlooms is excited to offer this very rare French Demitasse/Espresso Set including four demitasse cups and four saucers in a milky white faience decorated in cobalt blue scrolls and center delft-like medallions. some ribbing of the molds, medallion on both the front and rear of the cup, and the handle is so nicely decorated. All pieces are marked with a simplistic castle with 3 steeples marked GIEN FRANCE in blue. After extenstive investigating, I believe this pattern is from the 1960's and is called Rouen 32. Wonderful French Cottage Chic service for 4. Size: Cups 2.25" High x 2-3/8" wide; Saucer shops is 5-3/8" wide. Condition: Excellent other then some rough edges around the rims from manufacture.
