13* Vintage 1940s shops – 60’s Made in Japan Pot Metal Souvenir trays or Ashtrays that are Reminiscent of Route 66 Days.

Selling these all together.

There are now 13 total and all made in Japan around the 40's – 60's. *There were 11 in this collection and I just added two more and didn't increase the cost of the collection. All made from pot metal, are in great condition and each offers a bit of history that's tied to where they are from. Never used, two are ashtrays and the rest could've been used as little snack trays.

They are all part of a souvenir series done at the time including tin trays for all states and other attractions throughout the USA and the world. The larger ones seemed to always look like bronze or copper and the oldest one in that bunch is Alaska.

Color is over-painted in key areas on all of them except the small S. Dakota, large Missouri, South Dakota and Virginia ones. Alaska has been over-painted in areas and is actually the older of those four. “Made in Japan” or “Japan” is embossed on the backs of each.

Great patina and condition shops for their age. Great design.
