"The Perfect Gift in Perfect Taste, said the ad for John A. Oya's Perfume Tropic line of hand-carved perfume containers.
This beautiful ginger "torch" style wooden perfume holder was carved of rare Milo wood, probably in the late 1930s or early 40s. These lovely souvenirs of Hawaii were frequently brought to the states (since this was before Hawaii became a U.S. state) by servicemen stationed on the islands.

The bottle holder is in excellent shape, and still contains its original glass bottle with a bit of remaining perfume inside, but both of the original labels are not in good shape.

Please view all photos for more information, and contact me with shops any additional questions. Total height is 7 1/2 inches.

Free, fully insured U.S. Domestic shipping is included.

Check my listings for more vintage items from Hawaii.
Unfortunately, until I understand the LUCID program, I will no longer be shipping anything to Germany.
