The Minolta Maxxum Series of cameras is a great line up which includes the first true production auto-focus camera system the 7000. This model is the much later Maxxum 3 cameras and is built for simple operation, with Program and Automatic exposure modes only. A capable fully automatic camera, the 3 is capable of taking some great photos and will accept all of the excellent Minolta AF lenses. This makes these excellent student cameras today that are reliable and as versatile as anyone will truly need.
This one is in very good shape and is functioning just at it should. The shutter fires as it should and the meter is accurate. Included with this Maxxum is a Minolta 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom lens which is solid zoom lens in good shape, with an accurate focus and clear optics. Included is the hard to find original lens hood and a good UV filter. This camera is a great versatile shooter that can take some seriously good photos and will accept any of the wide and excellent range of Minolta AF lenses.
