All items in my store are pre loved and can be up to 60 years old. Do not expect brand new and perfect. These items of clothing have been worn for many years, sometimes by several generations of the same Mayan family, and will show some signs of wear. Sun fading, light soiling, thread pulls and fabric stretching are all possible. These should not be seen as imperfections, rather testaments to the long and varied history of the piece.

However, any serious signs of damage such as holes or tears are always noted and photographed.

I strive to be 100% honest and want you, the buyer, to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are, please leave me a review. If not, please contact me and give shops me the opportunity to make sure you are happy.

I believe in offering beautiful, pre loved , vintage pieces at the cheapest rate possible, whilst paying the ladies selling them, a good and fair price.

I strongly believe in fair trade practices and when traveling to many of the isolated villages, my friend Ingrid Aracely Pocon , who is cackchiquel Mayan travels with me, to interact with the ladies selling their garments in their native tongues ensuring a fair price.

Quite often it is possible to ship more than one item for the lowest price from the shipping company.
