This leather bound blank book is hand long stitched and has a total of 240 pages it would make a great travel journal, leather diary, or sketch book. This leather is naturally distressed and any cosmetic marks or small holes add to the character and style of the journal. The paper is a pH neutral, 80 pound weight drawing paper with a wonderful natural ivory color. I find it works very nicely for both pencil and pen and ink work.

PAGES: The book contains 5 signatures or sections with 12 folded sheets each, to make a total of 240 pages. As I prefer to sketch in my blank books, the paper is suitable for sketching. Ink will not bleed on the page as with some handmade papers.

From the start to finish these journals are made in our home in Ohio. shops Our patrons at the Renaissance Fairs have taken these home for sketchbooks, journals, family histories and recipes. These make an excellent Book of Shadows.
