Stunning, elegant and rich! Blown Glass Candy Dish or Compote on pedestal with lid. Delicate, thin glass with thick Georgian Gold encrusted etched band decoration which has a matted antique appearance, but shines in light. Some research indicates that the gold band is encrusted in 22KT, but I have not been able to definitively confirm this. Crafted in the USA. Rare to find with intact lid. Discontinued pattern. Great condition. Some minor wear consistent with age, but no crack, chips, stains or scratches. Approximately 6.5 " tall with lid, 4" without lid, 6" diameter. Photos are a part of the description.
