Antique, A.A.Vantine & Co., beautiful gold gilt, hand painted porcelain bowl and plate. The detail on this set is very nice. The bowl has a raised swirl design around the outside and a scalloped edge around the top. The plate has a scalloped, rippled edge with gold gilt and gold gilt with rich colors. Lovely colors of red shops, blue, yellow, white, and gold gilt outside and inside. Raised white dots around the outside designs also. This mark is rare to find. It represents the countries of Japan, Turkey, and China. No chips, cracks, or wear. Excellent condition. Measures 5 1/4" in diameter x 2 1/4" tall and the plate measures 7" in diameter and is slightly raised to 1" tall. A. A. Vantine imported Japanese arts from 1891-1920. Beautiful set!.
