Cotton shops lawn is a wonderful fabric for the warm months of spring and summer. It's light and airy, soft to the touch and comfortable to wear. The diminutive size of the flower buds in the print chosen for this ensemble is perfect for infant sizes and looks fresh and innocent in an updated version of a sleeveless summer frock.

The pattern is from "Little Lizard King" and features a jewel neckline with an intricate chevron insert on the bodice front, framed by eyelet lace and satin whipstitch piping. Tiny ruffles trim the neck and arm openings, in a contrasting lavender broadcloth. The full gathered skirt has a flirty ruffle around the bottom. The dress buttons down the back and has a sash to tie in bow.

This ensemble include an adorable bonnet with a ruffled brim to shield baby's face from the sun. The crown of the bonnet is pleated and a drawstring in the back allows the bonnet to be adjusted for size.

The dress and bonnet are fully lined in soft white batiste.

The chest measurement of this dress is 21 inches and the length from shoulder to hem is 17 inches.
