Vintage Seymour Mann Fish Head shops Oyster Plate

This is an exciting majolica repro piece made by Seymour Mann in 1992. This interesting oyster plate features six oyster wells decorated with detailed green glazed fish heads surrounded by beautiful earth toned glazing creating great depth and adding dimension and interest to this plate. The plate is scalloped around accentuating each head and the inner plate is detailed and molded with fish a fish scale pattern. Such a fun plate! The original is a very rare Wedgewood plate made in the 1890's century.

Dimensions: 8"

In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks or crazing. The back is stamped with "Majolica Hand Painted exclusively for Seymour Mann, Inc." followed by the date in Roman Numerals, 1992.
