This is a gorgeous set of Charlestowne Porcelaine in the holly berry pattern. Listing is for 2 large dinner plates and 2 mugs.

Each piece of Charlestowne Pottery is hand rolled on a board, with leaf impressions. Then it is cut into shape and decorated individually, so there will never be two pieces alike. It is then set aside to dry for two days after which it is fired to a high temperature that gives the piece its dense and stone-like appearance. The object will then be given several coatings of stain and glaze, loaded once more inside the kiln for a final gloss-coating. The end result is an impervious glass coating that is dishwasher, microwave, oven and food safe stoneware pottery.

The two dinner plates measure at approx 11.5" inches across and about 1 1/4" inches tall at the highest point of the scallops. The mugs are hefty, with an opening of 4" inches and a height of 4" inches.

These are very sturdy, well made & heavy pieces. Each dinner plate is over 2lbs each and the mugs are around 1.5lb each.

One dinner plate has a tiny chip and one mug has a chip on the bottom section of the handle. See photos. These spots could be easily repaired.

These have only been used as display pieces in a china cabinet.
