Chinese Wood Root Carved Immortal Lamp NOT WIRED shops W281

Fantastic carved wood Deity Immortal lamp. NOT WIRED. Probably 1930's or older. Could be the Deity Li Tieguai. Carved from one piece of wood. Base is carved to look like a root. The lamp fixture is missing as happened with many of these lamps. There is a place for a cord at the backside of the basket that he is holding. His eyes and teeth are porcelain. At some point it held a candle and there is a drip of wax down his back. There are shops some cracks in the wood, which is common for these figures, but the figure is very stable. There are no chips or repairs. He is large and measures 14 1/2" tall and is 4 1/4" wide.
