Snowflake shops Obsidian

Mala in Sanskrit means "garland", and traditionally they are 108 beads. 108 is a significant number in India and it is believed that when you recite a mantra for 108 shops times you are inviting the energy of the mantra into every cell of our body. This mala is made with snowflake obsidian for the Earth Root Chakra and clear quartz to amplify its protective and balancing properties.

8mm beads were used for the main body, with a 10mm guru bead, nylon cording in a vibrant red. The tassels are recycled sari ribbon from India.
