The long rectangular drop of this autumn toned necklace features a beautiful piece of Red Creek jasper. It is full yellows, browns, and deep rust reds. Red Creek jasper is named for the stream in China where the stone is found, and it is actually a dolomite, but is referred to as jasper. The pendant centerpiece is 2 3/8 inches long and 1 inch wide, and I repeated the colors of the jasper throughout the beads of the necklace. These beads include large and medium sized Bamboo agate, Red Creek jasper (with more of the green tones), Moukaite, cultured pearls, Czech glass, and Chinese glass. I used multiples sizes of sterling spacer beads, and larger sterling focal shops beads to add silver sparkle to the necklace. The hook and eye clasp is also sterling silver. The length of this necklace is 20 1/2 inches. There are matching earrings available, which include Bamboo agate, Moukaite, Swarovski crystal, and sterling silver, and are 1 1/2 inches long. This rich, warm-colored necklace will gather much attention, and go well with both casual and more formal clothing.
