This box is made of Thuya tree burls. This rare tree is a conifer from the cedar family and is exclusively native to Morocco. Burl is the underground part of the tree that is used because of its unique grain in shops the wood.

Thuya burls are so hard to find that artisans usually have to bid for them. This wood has an exotic scent similar to pine and cedar that will bring coziness to your home.
