Antique Victorian Faceted Quartz Briolette Drop Festoon Necklace on Gilt Chain shops with Sawblades

shops This is a very unique Victorian festoon style necklace. Faceted rock quartz crystals are shaped into briolette drop stones strung on a gilt gold filled brass chain with what I am calling "sawblades" which are saw-blade shaped brass charms inter-dispersed between the quartz briolettes. There are also bi-cone cut quartz crystal beads in between as well as throughout the brass chain with the original filigree clasp that is a modified box clasp. One of the earliest forms of box clasp, the filigree housing has pressure wire closure inside, and is secure.
