This Vintage Spoon Ring ( Ring of Remembrance ) depicts the Antler Hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado Perhaps you have had the pleasure of staying at the Antler Hotel in Colorado Springs, a few nights or summer wedding or honeymoon. The First Hotel was very successful. But disaster struck on October 1, 1898 when the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railway Depot located close by burned to the ground. Everyone evacuated the hotel in time how ever the building would not. Rebuilt in 1901 the new hotel had 200 elegant rooms a restaurant and Ballroom. It was then torn down and rebuilt reopening on March 20, 1967 the third hotel was situated in its original location downtown Colorado Springs. shops
