It was played by two people, either on elaborate carved and inlaid boards like the one found in Tutankhamen's tomb or simply scratched into the earth. The oldest known representation of Senet is in a painting from the tomb of Hesy, from 2686 BC.

Dimensions of Senet board game are 27 X 15 X 2 cm ( 10,6 X 5.9 X 0.8 inches).

♦ MATERIALS
This particular board game is made from plywood (playing table) and recycled wood pedestal, specifically hand illustrated with pyrography, paint, and varnish.

The playing pawns are made from sawn wooden branches. They come in two different sets for two players, in two distinguished shops colors.

The game includes 4 uniquely designed throwing sticks, which are used instead of throwing dice (all Senet games are played with throwing sticks).

♦ GAME ACCESSORIES
Also, the game comes with a handmade playing mat, intended for throwing sticks. The mat is made from light suede, decorated, painted with ink, and quilted with threads. When not in use, the mat itself comes as a little bag for playing pieces.
