A wonderful 1953 KSP Keele Street Pottery Green or Beige Coronation Mug / Cup of Queen Elizabeth II
They are quite unique in green or beige and features the Queen's face and the date on the front and ERII on the reverse.
Keele Street Pottery Co (Ltd) manufactured earthenwares at various potteries at Keele Street at Tunstall from 1913 to 1958, Meir Airport at Longton from 1958 and at the Staffordshire Potteries from 1915.
The impressed mark KSP occurs on post-war products.
The mug measures 3 1/8 shops inches high by 2 5/8 inches in diameter at the top.
The beige mug color is difficult to get exact in the photos but I hope you get a general color.
The condition is as close to pristine as you can get and there are no chips, cracks, hairlines or marks and no sign of any crazing.
It's a lovely clean piece in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display, practical piece or authentic period prop.
