Red Meaning - Power and Courage

Quartzite differs from Quartz. It forms when a quartz-rich sandstone is altered when its introduced to extreme heat and pressure once it has been pushed under the earth's shops surface. This process recrystallizes the sand grains and the silica that binds the grains together which then produces a very strong stone, Quartzite.

Quartzite is usually white to gray. Some stones are stained by iron which can produce pink, red or purple colors. Other impurities can turn Quartzite to yellow, orange, brown, green or blue.
